MackMedia Produces Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2018: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
While the international 'Kids' Choice Awards’ have already taken place in Los Angeles on 24th March, the children in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland had to wait a little bit longer to award prizes to all their local idols. On Friday 6th April, the time had finally come: at Europa-Park in Rust, Nickelodeon honoured the KCA winners for the German-speaking region.
The local stars celebrated music, sports, TV and film, and social networks, as well as the biggest kid of all – the ‘Big Kid’ of the year. The children alone decided who, in the end, took home one of the sought-after prizes.
Various idols and stars were part of the youngest jury in the world, amongst them: Falco Punch (Musical.ly), Selina Mour (Musical.ly), Mario Novembre (Musical.ly), Freshtorge (YouTube), Julien Bam (YouTube), freekickerz (YouTube), Rosa and Laila Meinecke (‘Hanni & Nanni’), Max von der Groeben & Aram Arami (‘Fack Ju Göhte 3’), Santiago Ziesmer (the German voice of SpongeBob Squarepants), Amber Bongard & Marvin Linke (‘Ostwind 3’), the cast of the Nickelodeon series ‘Spotlight’, Rebecca Mir, Jack Griffo (Nickelodeon ‘The Thundermans’), Kira Kosarin (Nickelodeon ‘The Thundermans’), Jace Norman (Nickelodeon ‘Henry Danger’) and Jaden Bojsen.
Musical performances by Mike Singer, Max Giesinger, and the band Sunrise Avenue were further highlights of this fantastic award ceremony at Germany’s largest theme park.
