The Ed & Edda product line is the premium brand of MackMedia. As the mascots of Europa-Park, the characters are always present in the theme park and represent the entertainment experience at Europa-Park like no other brand. Since opening in 1975, over 100 million people have visited the theme park and Ed and his friends.

Ed & Edda can be experienced live in the park

The history of Ed and his friends was created cross-medially. At Europa-Park, the brand world is present in, among others, the Magic Cinema 4D, in shows, games and merchandise articles, radio plays and magazines. The media highlight, the 4D film ‘The Secret of Balthasar Castle’ was seen by more than 2.5 million visitors in the Magic Cinema 4D alone and translated into nine languages.

Faces of Europa-Park

With the first step on the canvas, the characters and the brand world have been comprehensively developed and adapted to future needs. The brand is established across all age groups. Since 2015, the new 4D film adventure ‘The Time Carousel’ has been running in the Magic Cinema 4D of Europa-Park and in 4D cinemas worldwide by various entertainment facilities.
